Invitation to submit typographic posters. ŁÓDŹ DESIGN FESTIVAL – MAY, 2024. Deadline: March 29, 2024

The hero of the 2024 edition of the TYPE TEXT project is the city of Łódź in the context of its rich typographic traditions. Participants are invited to design submit their typographic posters, which are reflecting the history, atmosphere and character of the city and correspond with its typographic traditions.

Theme
Łódź (wudʒ) → a city in central Poland and the country' third lagerst city. Referred to as LDZ in urban slang.
During the most intense period of the city's development it was formed by four cultures: Polish, German (Lodz), Russian and Jewish (‏לאָדזש‎).
For this reason Łódź is called a city of four coutures. Łódź is associated with factories and textiles but typography is one of the city's most important non material heritage.
